Description

Combo Tour Highlights

We stop at several locations, with stop times ranging between 10 and 30 minutes. Note that stop time is based upon guide discretion and certain stops are dependent on the weather.

Vibrant Downtown: Downtown San Diego is the heart of one of the most desirable cities in the nation. Located at the center of the first great city of the 21st Century, Downtown San Diego offers breathtaking waterfront locations, warm year-round temperatures and an exciting 24-hour live-work-play environment.

The Gaslamp Quarter: The Gaslamp Quarter is Southern California's premier dining, shopping and entertainment district, where you'll find a truly eclectic blend of food, fun and culture all within one of San Diego's most historic areas.

Balboa Park: World-renowned Balboa Park is home to fifteen museums, various arts and international culture associations, as well as the San Diego Zoo, making it one of the nation's largest cultural and entertainment complexes.

The Embarcadero: Known for its diverse business and entertainment facilities, the Embarcadero features more than 125 retail shops and restaurants and a five-screen cinema.

La Jolla: In Spanish, La Jolla means "The Jewel." Indeed, this seaside town is the Jewel of America's finest city, San Diego. La Jolla is located 15 minutes from downtown San Diego. It has wonderful beaches, cultural activities and fine restaurants. La Jolla is an exquisite combination of a southern European resort atmosphere and Southern California fun.

Mount Soledad: From Mount Soledad, you'll be able to glimpse panoramic ocean views! Enjoy gorgeous, 360-degree views under the shadow of a towering cross, now encircled with veteran's plaques.

Hotel Del Coronado: Rising from the water's edge on the quaint island of Coronado in San Diego, the Hotel del Coronado is considered one of America's most beautiful beach resorts. A classic historic hotel, The Del was built in 1888 and designated a National Historic Landmark in 1977. Today, The Del offers travelers contemporary luxury in an enchanting Victorian atmosphere.

Old Town: Old Town San Diego, the first European settlement in what is now California, is often called the state's birthplace. In 1769, Father Junipero Serra founded the first California mission here. California's birthplace serves as the historic center of the city and is rich with the state's Spanish and Native American heritage.

1-Hour Harbor Cruise: View San Diego's magnificent harbor and skyline on our 1-hour cruise.

Tijuana, Mexico: Spend approximately 3 hours shopping in Tijuana! Our bus will stop at the Tijuana Tourist Terminal located on the world-famous Avenida Revolucion. The driver will give you helpful shopping tips and most merchants speak English.

I highly recommend this tour. We saw a great mix of San Diego and from there were able to know which areas we wanted to go back to and explore more. Our bus driver was excellent, he really knew his stuff. Tijuana was great, we felt very comfortable and getting in and out was a breeze.

The tour was the best day of our trip. Our guide was very personable and we had a great time. I later found that this company does tours to the zoo and Sea World and my only regret is that we didnt go through them. Thanks a bunch...

We had a great time on this tour. It was well worth the money. We could have used more time in Old Town but we had enough time to give us a taste. The tour guide was great. She told us where to go in Tijuana and how you know if you are getting a good deal. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone even those who are concerned about Tijuana. If you do as the driver tells you, you are safe. Thanks for a good time.

Had a great time. Learned much about San Diego - the land side and the water side - and then Tijuana was good. Worth every cent that I paid.
